LIMITED WARRANTY. Gnarwhal Outdoors warrants its products to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service from the date of original receipt for the period listed on the chart below:

This warranty is your exclusive warranty and there are no warranties that extend beyond the description contained here. The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and is not transferable and only applies if purchased directly from Gnarwhal Outdoors, on our website www.gnarwhaloutdoors.com, or from Gnarwhal Outdoors as the seller on amazon.com.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; (B) ALL OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND ANY LIABILITY NOT BASED UPON CONTRACT ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED; AND (C) IN NO EVENT SHALL Gnarwhal Outdoors BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER A CLAIM FOR SUCH DAMAGES IS BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE.
Gnarwhal Outdoors will either repair or replace any broken or defective product, at our sole option. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER.
If your request for warranty service is past the 14 day return period, you will be responsible for the costs associated with shipping the defective item(s) to the Gnarwhal Outdoors Returns Service Center located in California. All warranty returns must be processed by contacting us on our webpage. Return shipping costs are at your expense and non-refundable. If it is determined that the returned item is not covered by the warranty, you will be charged a return shipping fee equal to 20% of the retail value of the returned item(s) subject to a $10 minimum charge. Gnarwhal Outdoors is not responsible items lost in transit.
All purchases come with a 14 day return period. Customers who wish to return their products within this period will be required to pay return shipping. Customers wishing to exchange products will be responsible for paying shipping costs associated with the return and the delivery of the new product. Returned products must be in "new" condition. A 15% restocking fee will be assessed. Refunds will be issued after the product has been processed at our facility. Gnarwhal Outdoors is not responsible for products lost in transit.
Ice Retention Warranty: Gnarwhal will replace or fix your cooler if no ice is remaining after the minimum number of days/hours your coolers should be holding ice based on the following control procedures. Please note we may require you to submit pictures of you performing the following control tests and provide us with the results. There are many variables that will affect ice retention including pre-chilling the cooler, the ice quality, ice quantity, type of ice, outside environment, exposure to sunlight, etc. Due to these variables, the ice retention can range from a couple of days and last up to 10+ days. The following are minimum days for warranty testing control testing.
- Pre chill and prepare the cooler
- Completely fill the cooler with ice, close and lock the lid shut.
- Place the cooler indoors at an average temperature of no more than 80 degrees.
- Lift the coolers once a day and shut the cooler within 30 seconds of opening.
- Utilizing the above process, your cooler should have some ice remaining after the following number of days/hours:

Normal wear and tear (including chips and scratches, abrasions, discolorations or fading due to usage or exposure to sunlight or washing) is not covered by our warranty. Damage caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, unauthorized alterations or repairs, water damage or failure to follow recommended care and use instructions will not be covered by the warranty.
Factory seconds, discounted or second-hand products or products purchased from third party retailers are not covered by our warranty.
Products used commercially, that are abused or misused, or products that are structurally altered or subject to undue stress beyond the physical limits of the materials are not covered under this warranty.
This warranty does not include any manufacturer responsibility for any consequential or incidental damages resulting from the use of the product or from any malfunction. Under no circumstance will Gnarwhal Outdoors be responsible for any amount of damages beyond the amount paid for the product at retail. Gnarwhal Outdoors will not be held liable for the contents of any cooler should it fail to operate as advertised.
The warranty shall not apply to any product, or component thereof, which is not returned according to our warranty policy and return procedures. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Please carefully review any online care instructions for proper use and care.
Proof of purchase must be provided upon request in order to verify warranty coverage. Please retain purchase receipts for your records.
Gnarwhal Outdoors reserves the right to change product models and designs without incurring any obligations to incorporate such changes into already complete products, or those in the hands of retailers or consumers. Gnarwhal Outdoors products repaired or replaced under warranty may or may not incorporate such changes.
